New 3D menu will enhance your guest experience


On-board a superyacht, it goes without saying that the owner and their guests expect the best. Seven-star 24/7 service is part of this, meaning food and drink must to be made to fit guest’s specific desires. But although stewards may do an excellent job describing menus, there can be a disconnect between the galleys and the person ordering, with guests not really knowing what their food will look like until it arrives.

Until now. New app KabaQ uses augmented reality to let diners see how their next meal will look in 3D through a smartphone or tablet. The app also displays ingredients, portion size and can take online orders.  By removing uncertainties to the food selection experience, crew can rest assured that their guests will be satisfied with their order.
